Preparation for Activation

Before activation, please make sure that the following requirements and specifications are met:

Software and hardware requirements
  1. A computer or workstation with a USB port
  2. A Windows or macOS operating system with internet connection
  3. A browser that supports FIDO2, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge
  4. A user account (ID) – please check the activation email sent by the system
  5. A URL link for activation – please check the activation email sent by the system 
  6. An AuthTron® Security Key
Important

You need to set a personal identification number (PIN) for your AuthTron® hardware security key and enter your PIN every time you log in with the security key. You may follow the instructions to complete settings during the activation process and download management kits for FIDO2 security keys (only compatible with Windows operating systems) to set your PIN and touch pattern. You may change your PIN and touch pattern at any time with the management kits by following the instructions in the AuthTron® manual.

At present, the management kits only support Windows operating systems, so touch pattern authentication is not available If you are not using a Windows operating system.

After the above software and hardware requirements are met, you may begin the activation process.
