Files created by you

Each file uploaded to FileAegis™ has its own file details. In this chapter, files are also divided into those created by you and those shared with you.

The following Information of files created by you can be viewed in [File details]:

• recipient(s) of the file
• file status after receipt (previewed, downloaded, or details viewed)
• revisions (a new revision may be uploaded by another user)
• file location under virtual directories
• recent file usage

In the page of [Established by me], you may read file details by clicking a file name.

As shown in the figure below, file details consist of five areas, which are briefly explained from the left to the right.

1. Basic information

   The file type, icon, name, tag, and note are displayed on the left.
   The creation date, owner, and revision of the file are displayed on the right.

2. Recipient profile

   You can see who the file is shared with, how many people have viewed the details and downloaded the file, and what percentage of people in a group have viewed and downloaded the file.
   You can view the lists of users viewing file details, previewing the file, or downloading the file in the group by clicking the blue icon  next to the group name.

3. List of link locations

   This section is located at the bottom left of the page, and you can view the virtual directory location of the file and when the file was placed.

4. Revision history

   The [Revision history] section at the top right of the page shows when the revisions of the file were created. You can click the icon  to download each revision or click the icon  to view the details. Each revision has its own file details for viewing.

5. File usage in the last 7 days

   Two charts at the bottom show the number of people and times of using the file as well as changes in the past 7 days.
